I've had the truly unlimited programme for over a twelvemonth now and it works fine. Only one thing is when I bought my activation card, I chosen to activate and was told the menu was already in use. I called the number on the card and they said they could not help me. Went back to Walmart and the asst. manager said he could not help. I told him I was going to call the police to the shop and make a fraud report and believe it or non the asst. manager found a way to assist me. I've been happy always since. I stream lots of stuff and it works fine, just equally proficient as whatsoever other service I've used.

Worst phone service I have had since Boost Mobile. Customer service no longer in the U. Southward.. A year agone my hotspot worked fine, six months ago. It'due south now non-existent. Chosen the overseas client service and was told I don't get a hotspot and I need to pay my beak, which is paid two months ahead of due engagement.. I accept been extremely disappointment and angry ever since. I switched carriers and am never looking dorsum, hope they get out of business by at present! I've had many problems with this service in the past that are similar to what others are saying, and I'd thought I'd seen them all. Only today I had to add together even so another deceitful practice to the list. My data plan allows me to use 10 gigs for my hotspot. When my hotspot all of a sudden cutting off mid download I was certain I hadn't reached my limit and so I checked my phone. Sure enough, I had merely used 8.9G. At present my download, which would have been just fine, is stuck in limbo. Customer services vivid answer? "Oh well, you'll have to buy an boosted data plan." Thanks Family unit Mobile....

I near NEVER leave feedback, just to warn others nearly the experience we had with Walmart Family Mobile, we decided to go public about your experience. This is the worst product, and even worse service we have always encountered. Tech support lies, misrepresents, and fails to carry out any promises. Don't believe a word the incompetent representatives tell you lot. The jail cell phone quality was then bad, we couldn't understand a give-and-take anyone said on the telephone internal and exterior speaker. They promised to replace the phone, but it was never sent. We spent hours trying to make information technology work, all at no avail. Don't waste your time and money.

I chosen them and gave me bs answer such as "you need to alter your telephone number, service coverage not available around your city (Fort Worth, TX), phone is not supporting it- plough it on and off then asked me to manufacturing plant reset my phone (I am done- manufacturing plant reset my phone?) conspicuously told them I will non modify my phone number I had for 10 yrs or factory reset my telephone for something you guys do not know how to fix. I've been using this service for a few years at present, and for the almost part information technology hasn't been too bad. Sometimes calls don't come through merely that isn't a common occurrence. I too do not become service in a lot of place. My largest outcome has come up in the last couple of months. I pay for unlimited call and text with a 14gb 4g LTE limit with unlimited data after that, but at a 2g speed.
For the terminal two months my data limit hasn't reset, and for this last month my service was cancelled two days later on I had paid my bill, which was the end appointment for the previous month. Then I call the support line and they see that I had paid and reactivate my business relationship. I got my call and text back but I didn't get my data limit reset, and so I was surprised when I plant out a week later that I had used 14.4 gigs of my mobile data and had no admission to my 4g LTE speed. Then I call tech back up over again and go told that I had spent xiv.four gigs of mobile data (I but really employ information technology for music in the machine and occasionally to stream a 20-30 minute bear witness on my tiffin interruption).
When I told them that I had checked my usage since my reset and used only 800mb of data I was told that I had used 14.4gb of data on background apps and music in merely 6 days. So I ask to get transferred to their management staff which immediately saw a discrepancy with my usage and get disconnected after a couple of minutes and never receive a callback. So I had to telephone call once more, ask for a director and restart the process. Again I got disconnected and received no callback. This happened a few times more before I gave up for the night.
I tried again a few days subsequently and got through all of the steps to get my service reset again with their billing department. After their reset steps were complete I checked and my data hadn't recovered, once more. I didn't realize this until a few days afterwards when I went back to work, as I was operating on Wifi at dwelling house for the weekend. So I recollect again and get through the steps, again, and afterward going through even so some other agent my phone over again stopped working for text, call, and cyberspace. And then over again I had to become through their technical support and, again, they but got my call and text working.
My data is all the same over the limit and I've given up trying their technical back up. Their agents are very well mannered (through their 10-13 agents I talked with maybe two of them got an attitude when I had to explicate my situation several times because they wouldn't actually look into my data usage trouble and would instead but look at my business relationship overview which only showed my incorrect exceeded usage), just due to the fact that none of them could prepare my actual problem I believe they're wholly unreliable. When it works it works. When it doesn't work they tin't set up it. That'southward not a standard that I feel comfortable putting my continued patronage into.

The phone service didn't e'er work right, I would miss calls from my bosses at several jobs due to the telephone non ringing with me sitting nearby staring at the device. Y'all tin Imagine how this could cause me trouble at a task. Oddly plenty, the device rings for foreign scammers calling for the previous user of my phone number. I judge their scam phone call filter was rushed out. But calls from overzealous bosses suck anyway, and so this was not my biggest complaint. The Sending or receiving pictures via text has never worked right, but notwithstanding not my biggest complaint. For nearly 3 years, I have never gone over my high speed data limit, and the data service worked fine as long as I was paying for 14GB and using nowhere near that per month. I recently changed my program to reflect my actual usage and immediately experienced worse speed even though I was non over my limit.
A few months afterwards I actually become over the limit and my telephone is throttled to punch up speed, my hotspot has ceased working entirely, and even after two billing cycles the speed I had before going over that one time has NEVER come back. Every time I take spoken to "support" it has been some aroused piffling social turn down that doesn't deserve any job, permit alone be helpful. I of my jobs was tech back up for a GPS/mapmaker that worked closely with Android devices, I have used this cognition to improve and repair my Android telephone on several occasions, when I can't even set up the speed or the ringing issues, I believe the service provider is to arraign. Particularly when I know other subscribers with the aforementioned issues.

Wal-Mart family mobile is past far the worst group of people working in their customer service I've ever dealt with. Not merely did Walmart screw up the plan I paid for they refused to set up their screwup unless I paid an additional 23 dollars for a plan I had already paid for and didn't receive. They would not ready my business relationship. They mocked me on the phone. I could hear the reps making fun of me while I was on the phone with them abs then they hung up.on me. I would not recommend walmart family mobile to a soul fifty-fifty if they were the only telephone provider in the world I would exercise without. They suck and most of them yous can't even sympathize because they can barely speak English language. One in particular her name was Riza and she should be terminated because she lacks customer service skills. I would have given 0 stars if there was an choice.

I told them to check my call logs and that would should I have not used upwards my residue. The repeatedly told me they were checking my call logs for the entire hour plus that we talked. Finally at the end they admitted they lied and were unable to check the phone call logs. They told me they could but check on the balance remaining. I just recently paid my phone bill after it had been off for about thirty mins from me forgetting to pay it. No problem. I paid over the automated phone and my phone was working again. Except, service was nonetheless not working with two of the 4 phones on my account. I checked online and it says they are "still in the process of activating please phone call if in 5 mins they aren't fixed". I called and the robocall hung upward on me after repeating that same prompt. I called their customer service through a workaround with a different phone and later on verifying my account and thanking me for my patience a weirdly loftier corporeality of times they asked me to verify the sim bill of fare on my female parent's phone.
I do not live with my mother, I am at piece of work and tin't walk my older female parent through how to take it out and verify it. I informed them this but started happening to my business relationship later I paid them and it'due south happening to ii different phones on the account, it'southward not a problem on my end obviously to anyone with any experience with troubleshooting (which you would promise their customer service would be trained the slightest in). I was told to call dorsum when I can verify it then they tin move to the next step in the procedure. I was told this exact aforementioned prompt at least v times in a row when stating I can not do that any time soon and information technology is Ii different phones having this problem. Nope, aforementioned prompt once again. This is not my get-go horrible bad customer service call with them. It really sucks. 2 times this month my telephone will tell me it looks like you're out of minutes which I wasn't. For 5 times I called 611 for Walmart Family Mobile. The representative gave me instructions which didn't work and never called dorsum to help me after back to use another phone which I told him I had no other device to use. I chosen back, asked if they can give me extension on the date my phone will get cut-off for actress day and they pass up to. 29 days my telephone has worked fine. I wake up remembering I never got the $50 gift carte du jour for the promotion they are running. I called customer service and the guy tells me it got stuck awaiting in their organisation and he'southward emailing it now. I don't receive the email and he replies, "Is there anything else I can assistance you with?" I said, "Yes. I didn't get the email" and he asks me to restart the phone(?). And I said, "No that's non the trouble and I desire to do the survey on my feel" and the telephone call gets dropped immediately.
All of the sudden I can't make calls (information technology says I'm out of minutes only I accept unlimited program) and hangs up immediately. My text messages are unable to send or receive (says Messaging has been blocked?). She tells me it's to process tomorrow and I'll see the money in 3-five business days and tried to hang upward merely before she did i asked her what the reference number is for the refund and she said it would be generated when she finalizes the request....which means she hadn't even washed it. She does a bunch of typing then provides me with a number. I have a feeling I won't receive this coin back. Got an At&t phone instead. I couldn't imagine a less competent "staff".

I accept a TCL TracFone through Walmart Family unit Mobile. Suddenly I was unable to make or receive calls. Calling tech support was a miserable feel to say the to the lowest degree. I made at least 10 calls to their customer support for help. They told me they couldn't set my phone while I was on it. Since I live alone and only had my cell telephone, I had to go and buy another phone Only TO BE ABLE TO GET THEM TO Help ME Figure OUT WHAT WAS WRONG WITH THE Telephone!!!! One time I buy a NEW telephone, I called them and they were able to ready it. Information technology turned out it was their fault every bit they had made organization changes over the weekend and information technology messed up the minutes on my cell preventing me from making or receiving calls. So this was THEIR mistake and it ended upwardly costing me money for another phone. Stay away from this cell service. Client support is the absolute worst I've ever experienced!

I accept the same problem as most of you and especially, Patrick of Moscow, ID. I called about a voicemail problem and they said they fixed my problem. I hung upwards. Tried to make a call and I go "Oh no!! It seems y'all ran out of minutes. Telephone call 611 to purchase more than". I am on the unlimited programme where they take money out of my acct. monthly, not the pay by the minute programme. I tell them what is happening and they say, "There is no trouble with your telephone. I can't fix something at that place is nix incorrect with." Yet I tin't make calls except to 611. Apparently they want to be my friend, AND Be THE Simply FRIEND I Can HAVE!
They too have the same generic fixes. Remove battery, remove sim card, expect 1 minute, plow phone back on and try and brand a call. It is all read by scripts. All typed out for them. And can anyone respond me this. Why do all the reps. in India and the Philippines have Americanized names???? Who do they think they're fooling?? Sincerely, Phoneless in America

I initially purchased cell telephone service for myself. I noticed while trying to get activated client service was non going to be great, but figured I'm not ordinarily needy and don't demand a lot of hand holding so thought it would be OK. The major problem happened when nosotros added my husband's telephone to the business relationship. It wouldn't prepare as an add on phone, so we ready it upward for what the system would accept, 14G at $39.88. Mind y'all I was on the 4G programme and the add on phone for that plan was supposed to be $24.88 with the $5 discount for additional lines (4G is plenty for both of us).
Once we had things running I called customer service to explain the problem and was told they would get it stock-still. I recently had my credit card hacked that I was using for motorcar billing which caused me to await at all my charges closely and I realized they never changed out his plan and so for the whole fourth dimension (MANY months) we were overcharged!! I called them nearly halfway through the last billing cycle to betoken out the problem and was told it could non be fixed until we reached the end of the cycle (idea being they don't want to issue a credit I call up). So I chosen today at the end of my cycle and it seems (perchance) that they stock-still the billing price, all the same they refuse to effect any credit at all for the time we were overcharged. Nosotros volition exist leaving them afterward this. I recommend you stay away if you want to be treated fairly.

The reason their customer service representatives are on the other side of the planet is because people similar myself would go to them in person and they wouldn't be able to brutalize you the fashion they practice over the phone. I've spent hundreds of hours and lost lots of coin dealing with the ignorant uneducated barely English speaking men and adult female who prevarication for a living. Afterward 10 months of very spotty service and the companies claim that I ran through 4GB of data in xviii days or less each month, I'd had it with Family Mobile and went to cancel my service. They had the audacity to charge my credit card when I called to cancel- 3 days earlier than it should take been. I was on Autopay and as I called to cancel I reneged their ability to accuse my menu....or so I thought. They charged it and and so canceled my service. I made over a dozen calls to their phone call eye, which is located in the Philippines....they played the "I'll forward your call on to a supervisor" "We can resolve that for you....I just demand to get my supervisor to approve"....routine or just 'hung up' on me each time, never making the issue resolved.
I've reported them to the FTC and I'm thankful it was only 31 dollars and not more than. This company is a huge rip off. I switched to T-mobile and verified my information claims (that Family mobile's tracking of your data is fashion off...almost double what yous actually utilise). Family Mobile also refused to release my iPhone. Thankfully T-Mobile had a 'prepay for service get a complimentary phone ' deal then I come out 'ahead'...merely have to pay three months in advance for two phones. Over again, bottom line....Exercise NOT Get SERVICE WITH Family unit MOBILE. Having their Customer Service call heart in the Philippines should be enough to proceed you from going to them. The FTC/FCC should close this company down before they rip off more people. Walmart! Why are you associated with this scam company?

Was great until my service broke. Broke, as in I had dumped the cash for the service simply was not receiving it. No outgoing calls, nor information. Contacting tech back up or any other co-operative of Family Mobile resulted in one thing; Restarting my phone. They would lead me for upwards to half an hour with questions and requests until challenge to have fixed the problem and telling me to restart my phone. They had fixed nothing. Some stupid gimmick on the risk that the problem might be resolved be a restart. Across that I was told to alter my APN settings. Which I did. No consequence.
The issue had to be either on their end or with my SIM carte. I could text and phone call Family Mobile, but nowhere else; which is to say the trouble wasn't on my terminate. No solution. I tried to switch carriers. Telephone was locked. Arbitrarily- likewise, since the phone wasn't on a plan to start, but rather was simply from TracFone. What practice I get to run across when I try to unlock my phone? I can't. Why? They deleted my account. At some point along the fashion, my number was deleted from the providers, well within renewal times. I have no thought how this happened, however it was not of my action. Don't. Exercise. I am so pissed off correct now. Showtime I'd similar to say well-nigh four days agone I should have got the lady's proper name promise me a replacement phone which I need very bad. This company also put me through a lot of changes stressing me out. Yesterday was the 22nd Dominicus. I have buy bill of fare. I paid $42 for to give me xiv GB to representative I spoken with yesterday supposed to add on my prepaid service.
This morning 3:59 a.thou. a new damn morning I found out not one of them representatives done their chore right because my phone was inactive. How the hell that is impossible. The visitor needs to close down. This is the worst company I always dealt with. They lied to me nigh sending me a replacement phone knowing the trouble I accept with this telephone. I call this company over 100 times. Even the management'due south are bad. A lack of aid. Unprofessional. Uncomplicated Mobile is improve than this Boost Mobile. I had to ask to exist transferred to a different rep at least five times because nigh of them are unable to speak English clearly and they talk way besides fast. The fourth rep began to deliberately stall and waste matter my fourth dimension, saying "one moment" at least twenty times during the call, each of these "moments" taking forever. The final rep - purportedly a senior manager - simply disconnected me at the cease of my explaining the issue. Walmart Family Mobile apparently doesn't care about customer service considering they go out no recourse when bad service is received. Needless to say, I've moved on to a unlike mobile provider. My husband and I have cell phones with Family Mobile. My phone is a Moto e4 and my hubby's is a TracFone purchased specifically for family unit mobile. Last night they worked fine. My last text message was 8:00 pm. Today I take no service unless I go outside. Up until now everything was fine. I called for help and spent well-nigh an hour the first phone call and got disconnected, called back and spent almost some other 60 minutes to tell me that everything is fine on their end and there is naught they can do to aid me as it is not a network problem. So I am so frustrated because how can something work in my house and less than 24 hrs I take to get outside for information technology to work? Cheaper is not always better. Now my phones are paid thru x/15 and Walmart will not refund my money because at that place is no trouble! Will never exercise this again.

I've had my cell number for over iv years and even so I've discovered that a previous possessor's caller ID shows up when I make calls. That means I constantly receive nib collection calls for him and no matter how many times I explain I'm not him... they all the same harass me! Also I use my phone for business calls likewise only my proper name doesn't announced and then my clients accept no idea who's calling and won't answer. I've chosen customer service at Walmart'due south Family Mobile service but they claim information technology'south a recycled number and cannot do anything nigh information technology even though I pay for my own name on my caller ID! It's not fair because I need and pay for my proper name to bear witness up when making calls.

Worst client service feel ever. I spent over ii hours, talking to six dissimilar people none of whom could diagnose or fix my problem. Do non purchase anything from Walmart Family unit Mobile. Information technology's a scam.
